May: "Rescue" won by a long shot, with 7 of the 9 votes. (Apparently people prefer daring assaults on trains over fighting giant flowers.)
June: Another obvious victory, with "Overworld Adventure" landing 8 votes. (Whoop-whoop! Spirit Tracks needs all the love it can get.)
July: This one was a lot closer, but "Say" won with 4 votes. ("Phoenix" got 3, and "Brothers In Arms" got 2.)
August: Yet another easy win, as "The Game Has Changed" received 7 votes. (Goes to show that a bad movie can have a great soundtrack.)
It is time for the final four months! Trust us when we say that things only get harder from here . . .

SEPTEMBER: "Main Theme" from Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
OCTOBER: "Day of the Departed" by The Fold (This one was hard to choose because each song was so DIFFERENT. I liked them in different ways. AGH. Why do you do this to us?)
NOVEMBER: "1,000 Doors" by The Living Tombstone (JOSIAH. I just sat here for like 5 minutes in great distress trying to decide. Because I LOVE Skillet, but 1,00 Doors was just so, SO catchy and adlkjf;lkjsd. I can't believe I'm not voting for Skillet but...but yeah. I think I might like 1,00 Doors a teeny tiny micro ounce more??? I DON'T KNOW.)
DECEMBER: "Undertale" from Undertale (I can't believe I'm voting for something that's NOT Donkey Kong or Zelda. o.o I loved all of those songs, but Undertale is just so emotional and beautiful.)
*COLLAPSES* This may have been the hardest voting round yet. I adore ALL these songs! I'm super curious to see which ones win because they're all just so good!
Trust me, the next two rounds are going to be WAAAY harder than this one, or any of the previous rounds. XD

ReplyDeleteSeptember: Okay, this was somehow super hard, yet super easy. While "Strike the Earth!" has helped me fall in love with the Shovel Knight soundtrack and its chiptune style, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney has become one of my all-time favorite games. Naturally, I adore its gorgeous soundtrack, so I'm voting for "Main Theme."
October: Ooh, the nostalgia is real with that Club Penguin song . . . But the vocals in "Day of the Departed" are hauntingly wonderful, so I'm going with that song instead.
November: "Saviors of the World" not only reminds me of Shattered and my precious boys, but it also motivates me and makes me wanna write that series more. So it's not much of a competition.
December: Another seemingly hard choice with an obvious answer for me. "Undertale" is one of THE best pieces of music I've ever heard. While the other two options are amazing as well, they don't touch the greatness that is "Undertale," which is getting my vote.
I wonder what this round's results will be . . .
