In the last round, eight people voted for the best song for each of the first four months. Here are the results!
January: Well, both "Snowball Park" and "Snowy Fields" were tied with 3 votes each . . . I threw them into a decision maker site, and "Snowball Park" was chosen as the winner.
February: "The Tale of Tormak" and "Atonement" were tied at 4 votes each. Once again, the decision maker site was used, and "The Tale of Tormak" is the victor.
March: "Megalovania" easily won with 7 votes. (One person is going to have a bad time.)
April: "The Grand Finale" snatched the victory with 5 of the 7 votes. (Yes, someone didn't vote for this month.)

Yeppers, you're the only soul who would dare defy Undertale's greatness. ;P I'm just joking around, though. The thing about having "a bad time" is just a reference to Undertale. I definitely don't make the voting easy, that's for sure. XD

ReplyDeleteMay: Though I really do enjoy the old-fashioned, catchy style of "Floral Fury," I'm gonna choose "Rescue" instead. Such a great opening song for The Death Cure, and those brass instruments are on-point.
June: Another fairly easy decision for me. I'm voting for "Overworld Adventure." I mean, c'mon, not only was it for my first Zelda game, but it's for one of my favorite Zelda games to date. Not much competition there.
July: As I look at the three songs for this month, I have to ask myself: "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!" One does not simply have Junkie XL, MDK, and Gabriel Brown compete with one another. But while this is a hard choice, it's also somehow not. The Fury Road soundtrack is one of my favorites, and "Brothers In Arms" is one of my favorite tracks within that album. So that song gets my vote.
August: This one's a bit tougher . . . but I'm picking "Hymn to the Stars." It's just such a beautiful, atmospheric piece that makes me emotional and thoughtful. Honestly, the Starbound soundtrack has a lot of great songs like this one.
I know that the next round is most likely going to be the toughest for me. -_-

May: "Floral Fury" takes my vote. I normally would definitely choose the Maze Runner soundtrack piece, but that particular Cuphead song reminds me of the music they play at Nandos. And I love Nandos, so that song gets my vote!! Hahaha
